The leading cause of hair loss is a toxin known as DHT (Dihydrotestosterone). DHT causes a deterioration of the hair follicle, rendering it unable to produce hair. If this toxin is not removed, the damage can be irreparable. NIOXIN has proven to be effective in reversing the damage caused by DHT.

THE THREE STAGES OF HAIR DEVELOPMENT

When the hair cycles have been interrupted or temporarily damaged, hair can be accelerated to the next cycle, we find ourselves often times mostly in the Fall-out Cycle. Interruption can be caused by--stress, medication, a bad perm/relaxer, exercise, illness, type of shampoo used, heredity, undergoing chemotherapy or radiation. When the hair is in the Fall-out Cycle, no product can re-attach it to its food source, the papilla! Badly damaged hair will continue to fall out.

The NIOXIN approach
